Learning Outcomes
This course covers the essentials of 'biodiversity', offering engaging strategies to explore and appreciate the natural world right outside your classroom. Inspire curiosity and foster a deeper connection to nature.

What is the Heritage Keepers?
Heritage Keepers is a free heritage education programme for primary schools and community groups across Ireland that empowers participants to delve into their built, cultural and natural heritage and provides funding to allow them to take positive local action!

Facilitator - Ailbhe Doyle (Heritage Keepers)

Ailbhe holds a primary degree in Geography and Archaeology from the University of Galway and a Master’s in Conservation Behaviour from Atlantic Technological University. Passionate about conservation and biodiversity, she is particularly interested in both research-driven strategies for protecting ecosystems and engaging young people in these crucial topics from an early age. As a member of the Youth Leaders Alliance with the Mary Robinson Centre, Ailbhe has been actively involved in youth-led initiatives, panels and discussions on climate action and sustainability.
