Teaching Nature in our Local Place

This course is aimed at - enabling teachers to enhance their knowledge of the natural world around them while engaging in active hands-on methodologies learning about different types of habitats specific to their locality; To learn the appropriate language and wording around the natural world and the habitats explored that can be then used; to explore and understand climate change and how this is affecting our environment & to learn the eco-system services that we all depend on.
The natural world is becoming increasingly fragile. The need for everyone to see, realise and become aware of what is sitting on our doorstep is more important than ever.
