Running a successful Guided Reading session
This workshop will take participants on a journey to explore the many constrained and unconstrained skills that are involved in the complex reading process. The cueing systems will then be integral to analysing a sample lesson and noting the various ways that reading needs to be taught as opposed to being simply heard. Participants will need plain paper and a pencil at the ready.
This webinar will be supported by a resource pack.
Catherine Gilliland is a very experienced Literacy trainer and storyteller. She uses an innovative and engaging presentational style to engage her audiences and has had her work published. All her webinars come with a resource pack to support the teachers in their classrooms.
This webinar is hosted by Carrick Education Centre, in partnership with Donegal Education Centre.
