Learning Through Play Summer Course
Play is the most effective way to promote learning in early education. Playful learning, in both indoor and outdoor environments, empowers children to develop a strong sense of voice and agency, to make sense of their world, to problem solve, and increase their imagination and creativity. This course aims to contextualise play as a pedagogy, providing you with the confidence to embrace a playful learning environment. The five modules explore types of play, learning environments, the role of the teacher, and how to plan, teach and assess the curriculum through playful learning opportunities.
