This workshop will showcase ‘Sound it Out!’, a complete Sound Wall resource for the Junior classroom. The author, Deirdre O’Toole will present and demonstrate use of the resource. Attendees will have the opportunity to examine the five elements of the pack: Sound Wall cards, Spelling cards, Teacher’s Manual, Flipbook, and Practice Book. 

Deirdre will explain the rationale and research behind Sound Walls and their use in the classroom.  She will also present the phonemes (speech sounds) of English and demonstrate their characteristics.

Participants will receive an evaluation pack of the resource and the opportunity to purchase it with a discount.
