Problem solving in Maths using ICT
This course is run over two workshops and will enable participants to investigate:
· A range of online resources
· Interactive tools and applications designed to actively engage learners in problem solving activities
Participants will also explore, in a hands-on experiential manner:
· The role of ICT in capturing, discussing and extending problem solving activities in the classroom and wider local environment
· How ICT can be used for assessment, through portfolios and journals
Participants should have some experience of carrying out basic ICT tasks: (opening, editing, saving, closing files).
