NCSE - Establishing a new Autism Class - Seminar for Principals (Primary & Post Primary)

This course is a full day seminar/workshop facilitated by the NCSE to provide support and information to school leaders who are considering establishing special classes for autism in their schools - Post Primary and Primary.

Anticipated Outcomes

Participants will:

- Enhance their understanding of the characteristics of autism.

- Be provided with an opportunity to explore the NCSE supports for classes with autistic learners.

- Be given an opportunity to engage in reflective practice.

- Be provided with an opportunity to discuss with other school leaders the establishment of class for students with autism
