Individual Education Planning Post Primary

This webinar is aimed at mainstream and Special Education Teachers at Post-Primary.

• It will give an overview of the rationale for using IEPs.
• The process of devising an IEP will be explored and discussed.

Devising targets and strategies to meet the students’ needs will be explained.

Facilitator Rose-Marie Flanagan (B.Ed., Graduate Diploma in SEN, M.Ed. in SEN) has experience working as a mainstream teacher, SET, special class teacher and SENCO. She has worked as both an Advisor and an Associate with the NCSE since 2015. She completed a Master’s in Special Education in MIC in 2011. Her interests are in Inclusion Policy and Practice; Social and Emotional Learning; Positive Behaviour Support for students and Assistive Technology.
