Local Voices Programme - This is an exciting, significant and timely educational initiative for Irish schools. Through the project children learn how to become archivists of their local community; putting its recent history and contemporary geography into a beautiful, published record. Fintan McCutcheon, National Coordinator of Local Voices and Emer Cleary, Founder and CEO of Emu Ink Publishing have kindly offered to provide a free online information session on Monday 9th February 2026 from 4-5pm. ReNew You Wellbeing in Schools Programme - The programme is designed for pupils of all ages across both primary and secondary school levels and helps equip pupils with wellbeing skills for life. ReNew You offers a comprehensive, practical, and enjoyable approach to equipping pupils with the essential wellbeing skills they need to navigate life with confidence. Explorers Education Programme - Places are available for this the Marine Institute's Explorers Education Programme which offers senior primary school classes a fun, hands-on way to learn about and explore Ireland's oceans - at no cost to your school. Programme is delivered by trained Explorers Officers, each module usually involves two interactive visits to your class, packed with engaging activities, curriculum-linked lesson plans, and real-world marine science. Pupils are inspired to complete a small project based on what they learn, helping to build curiosity, creativity and environmental awareness. Safer Internet Day - This will take place on Tuesday 10th February 2026 and Oide TiE have kindly offered to hold a free online webinar for Primary Schools on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 3:15pm to provide an overview of Safer Internet Day aswell as details of resources and classroom activities for schools.
